A division bench of Justice Valmiki Menezes and Justice Hiten Venegavkar made the commentary whereas upholding the validity of the Goa Municipalities (Modification) Ordinance, 2026.
Whereas the Court docket upheld the ordinance, it emphasised that recent statutory workout routines can’t be used as a floor to lengthen the municipal polls.
