KANPUR: One trainee pilot and one other teacher pilot had been killed after a twin-engine coaching plane crashed in a discipline close to Natthupurwa village, near Ganga Barrage, in Kanpur on Thursday afternoon.Commissioner of police Raghubir Lal informed reporters {that a} four-seater, twin-engine Tecnam plane, which had taken off from the Garg Aviation Coaching Middle at round 11.30am, crashed round 11.50am below Gwaltohi police station limits within the outer space of Nathapurwa village.“The accident resulted within the deaths of teacher Sachin Bhatia from Gujarat and trainee Abhishek Pujari from Karnataka,” he added.The plane was a Tecnam P2006T operated by Garg Aviation, which has one such plane in its Kanpur fleet.

The plane kind and registration are but to be formally confirmed by the Directorate Normal of Civil Aviation (DGCA).The crash comes two months after a lady cadet pilot from New Delhi was injured after being struck by a working propeller whereas deboarding a twin-engine coaching plane at Garg Aviation’s Flying Coaching Organisation (FTO) in Kanpur.The June 26 incident occurred after an evening tutorial sortie on a Tecnam P2006T plane, registered VT-NBV. The girl pilot suffered accidents to her decrease again.
