Nothing Sub-Brand CMF Launches Clip Pro Open Earbuds With Premium Features at an Affordable Price

Nothing Sub-Brand CMF Launches Clip Pro – Nothing’s budget-focused CMF brand has entered a growing audio category with the CMF Clip Pro, its first clip-style open-ear earbuds. The product is built for listeners who want music, podcasts, and calls without sealing the ear canal or losing awareness of traffic, coworkers, and other surroundings. The Clip Pro is all about premium experience, but at a more accessible price point. It offers lightweight, Hi-Res wireless audio, physical controls, and a feature-packed charging case.

Open-Ear Listening. No Sacrifice

The biggest benefit of these open-ear earbuds is they enable users to remain aware of both their audio and their environment. Instead of sitting inside the ear canal, each bud clips gently around the outer ear and directs sound toward it. CMF uses a three-point support system and a flexible C-shaped bridge with a titanium wire core, helping spread pressure more evenly. Each earbud weighs 5.9 grams, which should make the design suitable for commuting, office use, exercise, and longer listening sessions.

Designed to Disappear

Comfort is central to the Clip Pro’s design, but CMF has also paid attention to style. The earbuds come in Dark Grey, Light Grey, and Coral, with matching charging cases. Their compact shape avoids the bulky appearance sometimes associated with open-ear headphones, while skin-friendly materials are intended to reduce discomfort during extended wear.

The open design does not create the seal used by traditional earbuds, so bass performance can be difficult to maintain. CMF fights back with a 10.8mm dual-magnet dynamic driver and Ultra Bass Technology, which is meant to enhance the lower frequencies while minimizing distortion. The earbuds are Hi-Res Audio certified and support LDAC, AAC, and SBC codecs, giving compatible devices access to higher-quality wireless streaming.

Smarter Conversations

For calls, the Clip Pro combines four HD microphones with VPU-powered Clear Voice Technology. The system is designed to separate speech from surrounding noise in busy streets, cafés, offices, or windy outdoor spaces. A customizable Sound Seal feature also reduces audio leakage, helping make calls and music less noticeable to nearby people. Users can manage this setting through the Nothing X app.

Thoughtful Design Inside and Out

One of the most distinctive features is the Smart Dial built into the charging case. It can adjust volume, control playback, answer calls, and help pair devices without requiring the user to unlock a phone. Physical controls are also included on each earbud, which may be more dependable than touch gestures during workouts or while wearing gloves.

Built for Everyday Life

CMF claims up to 10 hours of playback from the earbuds and 32.5 hours with the charging case. A 10-minute quick charge can provide up to four hours of listening. Other features include Bluetooth 5.4, dual-device connection, Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, Low Latency Mode, and IP54 dust and splash resistance.

The Clip Pro carries a $99 list price in the United States, although CMF’s official US store displayed a $79 preorder price on August 5. Wider availability begins August 15 in the US, UK, and Japan, followed by Europe and other markets on September 15. CMF has stated that the earbuds will not be released in India. That limited rollout may disappoint some buyers, but the combination of comfort, LDAC audio, practical controls, and strong battery life makes the Clip Pro a notable value-focused alternative to more expensive open-ear models.
