Sopore, Aug 24: Safety forces recovered a cache of arms and ammunition throughout a joint search operation in Manzseer space of Sopore in North Kashmir on Monday.
Senior Police official informed the information company—Kashmir Information Observer (KNO) that the operation was performed by the SOG Sopore in coordination with 52 Rashtriya Rifles, CRPF 177 Battalion and CRPF 179 Battalion, within the jurisdiction of Police Station Tarzoo.
“Through the search, the forces recovered one AK-47 rifle, three magazines, 72 rounds of ammunition, 4 hand grenades and one improvised explosive machine from an deserted home,” the officer added.
