Senior Advocate Vivek Tankha represented Jain in right now’s listening to and argued that his shopper was debarred with out giving him any alternative of listening to.
On being requested by the Bench whether or not Jain had obtained a replica of the BCI’s order, Tankha responded that he had not.
Tankha added that Jain had not even obtained a replica of the grievance towards him from the BCI. Slightly, a State Bar Council Member gave Jain the grievance, Tankha stated.
The Bench went on to query if Jain is keen to fix his methods.
“Will you right your self or not? You’re a repeat offender,” stated the Courtroom.
Tankha, in response, submitted that Jain has had an unblemished judicial service document.
“His spouse is an IAS officer. For 20 years he was a judicial officer. He’s by no means performed something which is untoward,” stated Tankha.
