Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Satendra Patel’s lead in Gujarat’s Manjalpur assembly constituency, where a bypoll was held recently, has widened. He is leading with a margin of 9,877 votes against his sole competitor, Congress’s Bhikhabhai Rabari. As of 10.35 am, Patel polled 15,981 votes, compared to 6,104 polled by Rabari. Earlier, after the first round of counting, Patel was leading by 1,600 votes.
