PUNE: Pune Rural police on Monday registered a case towards eight members, together with three ladies, of a right-wing outfit for allegedly assaulting 4 vacationers from 4 completely different teams at Sinhagad Fort on Sunday for sporting shorts and sleeveless garments.The incident passed off between 2pm and 5pm when the vacationers visited the historic fort. A 39-year-old resident of Dhayari, who works as a supervisor with a personal agency, lodged a criticism with the Haveli police.The accused have been booked below Sections 115, 118 (voluntarily inflicting grievous harm) and different related sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The accused have been recognized as members of the Samast Hindu Bandhav Military.An officer from the Haveli police stated the complainant and his members of the family had gone to the fort on Sunday afternoon.Whereas they have been clicking pictures, the accused approached them and questioned them about sporting shorts and taking pictures. Additionally they requested the household to depart the fort. The complainant informed us that one of many accused slapped him, whereas a lady dragged his spouse,” the officer stated.The police have obtained comparable complaints from members of three different teams who visited the fort on Sunday.“We’ve launched a search to apprehend the eight accused, together with three ladies.
