Minecraft’s 26.3 Snapshot cycle is nearing the finish line as Mojang dropped one of the most feature-packed updates before the major release. The Minecraft 26.3 Snapshot 7 brings in some of the long-requested features that are Concrete Stairs and the Concrete Slabs in all 16 concrete colors.
The latest patch also introduces the rewarding brand-new Explorer Maps hidden inside the Abandoned Camps. On top of that, the map items are refreshed, loot tables are tweaked, and several quality-of-life improvements are included in the latest Minecraft snapshot.
Concrete Stairs and Slabs Finally Arrive in Minecraft

Previously, colorful builds often required using the complete Concrete blocks. It often placed a limit on how creative one can get with their best Minecraft house ideas. But with the latest collection of colorful stairs and slabs, builders in the game can finally create cleaner houses, city streets, stadiums, and furniture.
Maybe you should give it a go with the brand-new cushions to be released in the upcoming Minecraft 26.3 update. Alongside these major additions, the Minecraft cushions no longer suppress vibrations when placed, broken, or interacted with in the game.
Minecraft 26.3 Snapshot 7 Now Hides Explorer Maps in Abandoned Camps
The second biggest highlight of the 26.3 Snapshot 7 is the expansion of loot found in the Abandoned Camps in Minecraft. These structures now offer valuable Explorer Maps leading to other nearby Abandoned Camps found in the following Minecraft biomes: Bamboo Jungle, Cherry Grove, Birch Forest, Dappled Forest, Flower Forest, Pale Garden, Swamp, and Windswept Forest.
Besides the campsite maps, you will also find some Explorer Maps that lead to several popular structures like the Ancient City, Trial Chambers, Mineshaft, Desert Pyramid, Jungle Pyramid, Warm Ocean Ruins, and Woodland Mansion in Minecraft.
The Explorer Maps are now unique items in the game instead of renamed Filled Maps. And every map type now has its own unique icon, so all your existing maps will be converted into the same.
The latest Minecraft 26.3 Snapshot 7 also changes how these maps behave because you cannot zoom out the Explorer Maps or the Buried Treasure Maps, either on a Cartography Table or on a Crafting Table in Minecraft.
The loot found inside the barrels of Abandoned Camps has been updated, while the Firework rockets have been replaced with gunpowder inside the chests.
The latest Minecraft 26.3 Snapshot 7 is now preparing the Minecraft Realms for future expansion by providing support for server regions in Canada, Mexico, South Africa, and Arizona, USA.
