7 Things WWE subtly told us on the RAW after SummerSlam 2026

WWE RAW after SummerSlam 2026 was a decent show to watch. It featured Big Cass’ return and an attack on Je’Von Evans. Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer also returned to the women’s division.

LA Knight finally came face-to-face with Roman Reigns, teasing a potential match in the near future. In this article, let’s discuss seven things WWE subtly told us on the red brand following the two-night premium live event.

#7. Lynch vs. Vaquer vs. Morgan in the works

WWE RAW after SummerSlam wasn’t a great night for Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan. Both Lynch and Vaquer confronted the Miracle Kid.

Initially, the two stars mocked the Judgment Day member, but they also had a heated face-off at the end of the segment. This development subtly suggests that WWE is planning a triple threat match for the Women’s World Title. It will incorporate Becky Lynch, Stephanie Vaquer, and Liv Morgan.

The Stamford-based promotion could announce this match for the upcoming Sunday Night’s Main Event or Money in the Bank 2026.

#6. Brock Lesnar has retired for now

Brock Lesnar has officially been moved to the alumni section of WWE’s roster site.

WWE aired an emotional tribute video package for Brock Lesnar on Monday Night RAW. Oba Femi also met Paul Heyman backstage and asked that The Advocate say “thank you” to The Beast for his actions at SummerSlam.

During his promo, The Ruler stated that Lesnar had passed the torch to him and could now rest. Not only that, but Brock has also been moved to the Alumni section of WWE’s official website.

All of this indicates that Brock Lesnar is retired for now. Meanwhile, there is still a chance that he could return around WrestleMania 43 next year, as the event will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

#5. Oba Femi vs Bron Breakker in the works

BRON BREAKKER AND OBA FEMI FACE OFF A FUTURE WRESTLEMANIA MAIN EVENT 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 #WWERAW

After the Nigerian star delivered his promo on RAW, he was heading backstage when he got involved in an interesting face-off with Bron Breakker. The Vision was making its entrance as Femi was walking to the back, resulting in a tense staredown between the two future stars.

Later in the show, the new Big Dog confronted Paul Heyman backstage and asked about The Ruler, mocking that The Oracle had found a new friend in Femi. This development teases that WWE is planning a match between Oba and Bron, and the rivalry already appears to be in the works.

#4. Royce Keys written off TV

Jacob Fatu and Royce Keys competed in the main event of RAW after SummerSlam. The Samoan Werewolf not only defeated the former AEW star but also launched a brutal post-match assault.

Jacob stopped only after being acknowledged by Roman Reigns, with the OTC appearing pleased with his actions. However, the vicious attack on Royce Keys after the match is a subtle indication that WWE has written him off television for the time being.

#3. Big Cass will be just another guy on the WWE roster

After weeks of anticipation, Big Cass finally made his return on the red brand. Cass attacked Je’Von Evans and brutally destroyed the Young OG. Many were hoping that the former AEW star would make a major comeback and be inserted into a high-profile storyline.

Meanwhile, the attack on Evans confirmed that WWE isn’t treating Big Cass as a special attraction. Instead, he appears to be just another guy on the main roster.

#2. LA Knight could win Money in the Bank to get a shot at Roman Reigns’ title

LA Knight confronted Roman Reigns on Monday Night RAW and demanded a World Heavyweight Championship match. The Megastar claimed that the OTC was running away from him and sending his Bloodline members in his place.

Knight also recalled his last match against the Head of the Table, arguing that it wasn’t a fair contest. Despite that, Reigns rejected Knight and told him to get back in line, saying he had done nothing to earn a title opportunity.

This development subtly suggests that Knight could win the traditional Money in the Bank Ladder Match in 2026. The briefcase would finally allow the former United States Champion to earn a world title match against the OTC.

#1. Roman Reigns heading to AAA

In the closing moments of the show, Roman Reigns expressed his satisfaction with Jacob Fatu’s actions against Royce Keys. Soon after, when the OTC returned to the Gorilla Position, Rey Mysterio met him.

The Master of the 619 told Reigns that he is the AAA General Manager and wanted to discuss something with him. Roman nodded and left with the WWE Hall of Famer. This subtly confirms that the Original Tribal Chief and his Bloodline could be on his way to making a major appearance in the Lucha Libre promotion.
