Fire-Boltt to Enter Indian Smartphone Market with New Boltt Brand on August 25 – IT Voice

Wearable manufacturer Fire-Boltt is expanding its product ecosystem by officially stepping into the Indian smartphone landscape under its new “Boltt” branding. Following earlier leaks regarding branding and hardware specs, a newly published Flipkart microsite has confirmed that the brand’s debut smartphone will be unveiled in India on August 25 at 12 PM IST.

Minimalist Design and Clean Software Experience

The Flipkart promotional teaser provides an initial look at the upcoming handset’s front profile and frame. The device sports a flat-frame design in a brown finish, housing both the power and volume buttons on the right edge. Its display includes a centered punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera along with a slightly pronounced bottom chin. Software-wise, the listing highlights a clean, distraction-free user experience optimized for seamless daily operations.

Expected Hardware, Specs, and Market Strategy

While official hardware configurations and pricing details remain undisclosed, Fire-Boltt previously confirmed that its mobile portfolio will consist of both the “Evo” and “Ace” series, offering 4G and 5G variants. All devices under the Boltt brand are set to be manufactured locally in India.

Industry reports suggest Fire-Boltt plans to target the budget segment priced under ₹20,000, placing it in direct competition with established market players like Samsung, OnePlus, Vivo, Oppo, Lava, and HMD.

Speculation points to the initial launch being the Boltt Evo 4G. The device recently appeared on benchmark site Geekbench, revealing an entry-level 12nm Unisoc T7250 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and running Android 16. The benchmarked unit scored 440 in single-core and 1,470 in multi-core tests, utilizing a chipset already featured in other entry-level devices such as the Realme P4x, Oppo A6c, Poco C81 Pro, and Itel Zeno 200.
