Although Barcelona have reportedly shown interest in Manchester City midfielder Rodri Hernández, the Spanish player is not even considering such a move and has made it very clear that he would only leave Manchester to play for Real Madrid, according to a report published today on AS.
Manchester City and Los Blancos are still engaged in negotiations, with the English club wanting a €75 million fee to let Rodri become a madridista, per that same report. Real Madrid would be confident about eventually reaching an agreement with City around €60 million.
In the meantime, Rodri is patiently waiting for the two clubs to finalize the details of his transfer. It definitely seems that Real Madrid are operating under the assumption that Rodri will play at the Santiago Bernabéu next season, so it all seems to be a matter of time.
