4 extra Iran-linked ships have been “redirected” by the US Central Command on Wednesday, as American forces proceed to implement the “metal wall” naval blockade towards Iran.
This brings the whole of ship redirections to 59 business vessels, 3 “disabled”, and a pair of boarded as of August 12, 2026.
The time period “redirected” means both blocked or turned again.
The day past’s figures (August 11) stood at 55 redirected, 3 disabled, and 2 boarded, indicating continued interdiction exercise.
The blockade targets vessels trying to enter or go away Iranian ports and coastal areas.
