White Home Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who earned a fame for acid putdowns of journalists, is to step down, President Donald Trump introduced Wednesday including she would stay a senior advisor.
Leavitt, 28, the youngest ever US presidential high spokesperson, has been a fiercely loyal Trump defender, delivering fluent and aggressive performances at typically combative press briefings.
“Our great White Home Press Secretary, and one among my most trusted aides, Karoline Leavitt, might be departing her position on the finish of the month so she will spend extra time together with her stunning younger kids and household,” Trump stated on social media.
